What is The Noise?

Our vision at Christchurch is to be a biblically functioning community of believers, so that we can demonstrate the love and righteousness of God both in word and action.

And that is what The Noise is all about – to take practical steps to show love to those who are not part of our Church.

On the 19th April there were teams out serving the community in many different ways. There were about 80 church family members involved in seven different projects.

The projects were as follows:

Gardening/clearing
Decorating/cleaning at Lamp
Open day/make over at NOAH
Basketball
Bouncy castle
Thirst Cafe and face painting.

God blessed the day with OK weather up until 4pm, although it was cold.

The day ended at church with a BBQ and a number of those for whom we had done projects joined us. It was such a blessed day with many good conversations and the beginnings of new relationships, both Church family and visitors.

 

God is good, all the time. All the time God is good.
